Li Xia is a passionate, caring, knowledgable educator, who started her teaching journey right after majoring in Education in 1992. She has taught pre-k to third grade for many years in China as a classroom teacher. Through her outstanding teaching and leadership her class attended many national activities with great results and winning awards. She moved to the US with her family four years ago to seek an international education for her children. She is excited and happy to be back in the teaching world and help Little Sprouts grow and blossom.
李老师1992年6月从师范学校毕业,同年7月开始至2010年就在小学工作,一直担任语文教师和班主任工作,其中还兼任过英语、思想品德,、科技、生活、音乐、美术、体育等等学科教师。取得了教师资格证、小学语文高级教师职称,普通话一级乙等。所教学生曾经在语文基础知识竞赛、英语技能竞赛、艺术小人才比赛中获奖。所带班级曾经获得优秀班集体称号。
Olivia is a mother, teacher, traveler and the founder of Little Sprouts CIP. She has had passion and love for kids ever since she can remember. Her interest in a bilingual education and global cultures led her to pursue a degree in Tourism in China, but once in the US she pursued her true calling and obtained a Bachelor's degree Education from Webster University. After nearly 8 years of teaching experience both in China and the US, including as one of the founding lead kindergarten teachers at the St. Louis Language Immersion School (SLLIS), she is excited to combine her passion and profession together to offer other parents the opportunity to introduce their children to a second language and foreign culture in a diverse setting.

Rui Zhang is a graduate student at Webster University and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Elementary Education. During the two year of study at Webster University, Rui has learned about differentiated learning instructions, formative assessments, and teaching in a diverse culture. She has earned her bachelor degree in Administrative Management, which also fosters her ability of classroom management as a teacher. As a native-Chinese speaker, she is proud to integrate Chinese traditional etiquette and life aesthetic into her teaching. Her cross-cultural experience and background as an amateur photographer provide perspective and tools to cultivate creativity in her students and teach them to love and appreciate the world around them. By teaching students to explore and inquire about world, culture and people around them, Rui will help students at Little Sprouts to become future leaders and life-long learners.
