Our Team

I am super excited to join Little Sprout Immersion Preschool with you. I have two little kids. My husband is from STL. So we decided to move back to USA in 2015. 

This is my first time in USA but I have about 10 years of education experience in my native country of Taiwan. I was working at a private English school for 10 years. 

After my first year I was promoted from an assistant to a manager, and worked there for 8 years. I was also an English teacher for two years. In USA besides Little Sprout preschool, I had also worked at the Parkway school district.  In my first year, I was selected as Rookie of the Year from among the entire elementary school staff across both the Rockwood and Parkway districts. I love working with kids, and teaching. 

I love to find new places, and activities to have fun at.  I can’t wait to share my experiences, and take care of your children. We are going to have so much fun!

我非常激动能和大家一起加入Little Sprout沉浸式学前班。我有两个小孩，我的丈夫是圣路易斯人，所以我们决定在2015年搬回美国。这是我第一次在美国生活，但我在我的祖国台湾有大约10年的教育经验。我在一家私立英语学校工作了10年。在我的第一年后，我从助理晋升为经理，并在那里工作了8年。我也做过两年的英语教师。在美国，除了在Little Sprout学前班工作外，我还曾在Parkway学区工作。我的第一年，我被选为从Rockwood和Parkway学区所有小学教师中选出的“年度新秀”。我热爱与孩子们一起工作，热爱教学。我喜欢发现新地方和活动，享受其中的乐趣。我迫不及待地想分享我的经验，并照顾好你的孩子。我们一定会玩得很开心！

Rui Zhang holds a bachelor’s degree in Administrative Management from China and a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Webster University in St. Louis. She discovered her passion for teaching and working with young children during her graduate studies and has been a dedicated educator ever since.

Since 2019, Rui has been a valued member of the LSCIP team, where she leads the development of themed lesson plans. She is especially skilled at integrating elements of Chinese culture into her teaching, fostering a learning environment that celebrates diversity and encourages students to explore and appreciate different cultures. Her teaching philosophy centers on helping each child reach their full potential while embracing the unique strengths of every student.

In her free time, Rui enjoys reading, cooking, and photography. She brings her creativity and curiosity into the classroom, inspiring young learners through both her lessons and her life experiences.

张蕊拥有中国行政管理学士学位和圣路易斯韦伯斯特大学的小学教育硕士学位。在攻读研究生学位期间，她发现了自己对教学和与幼儿合作的热情，从此成为了一名专注的教育工作者。

自2019年以来，张睿一直是LSCIP团队的重要成员，负责领导主题课程计划的开发。她尤其擅长将中国文化元素融入教学中，营造一个庆祝多样性、鼓励学生探索并欣赏不同文化的学习环境。她的教学理念着重于帮助每个孩子充分发挥潜力，同时尊重每个学生独特的优点。

在业余时间，张睿喜欢阅读、烹饪和摄影。她将自己的创造力和好奇心带入课堂，通过课程和个人生活经验激励年轻的学习者。

Hongli (Holly) Wang is a loving, dedicated, and experienced early childhood educator with more than 35 years of experience nurturing young learners. She began her teaching career in 1987 and has taught at several preschools across Beijing, China. Over the years, her passion for early childhood education and her commitment to fostering curiosity and kindness in children led her to serve as the Director of Teaching at Beijing Venus Kindergarten. Her extensive teaching experience reflects her deep understanding of child development and her lifelong devotion to helping children grow, learn, and thrive.

Ms. Wang was born and raised in Beijing and moved to St. Louis after retirement to be close to her son and daughter-in-law. She now enjoys spending time with her grandson and her labradoodle grandpup. She resides in the Hill neighborhood, where she loves cooking and exploring Tilles Park. Ms. Wang is delighted to continue sharing her warmth, wisdom, and passion for education with the Little Sprouts community.

王红莉（Holly）是一位充满爱心、敬业并且经验丰富的幼儿教育工作者，拥有超过35年的培育幼儿的经验。她于1987年开始了自己的教学生涯，并曾在中国北京的多所幼儿园任教。多年来，她对早期教育的热情以及培养孩子好奇心和善良的承诺，使她曾担任北京维纳斯幼儿园的教学主任。她丰富的教学经验体现了她对儿童发展的深刻理解，以及她毕生致力于帮助孩子们成长、学习和茁壮的精神。

王女士出生并成长于北京，退休后为了能与儿子和儿媳更亲近，她搬到了圣路易斯。现在，她享受与孙子和拉布拉多贵宾犬“孙宠”一起度过时光。她住在Hill社区，喜欢做饭和探索Tilles公园。王女士很高兴能继续与Little Sprouts大家庭分享她的温暖、智慧和对教育的热情。

  Li Xia is a dedicated educator, mother and fashion enthusiast. She graduated from Wuhan Teachers College in June 1992, majoring in Education and obtaining her teaching certificate. In July of the same year, she officially began her teaching career. Throughout her 27-year career, she earned outstanding achievements and gained strong recognition from both the school and parents. The classes she led were frequently awarded the title of “Outstanding Class Collective.” With a solid background in educational psychology, she has conducted in-depth studies on children’s psychological development and learning needs, applying this knowledge effectively in her teaching

After retiring in 2013, Ms. Li immigrated to the United States. Driven by her passion for education, she joined Littlesprouts CIP as one of its very first staff members, witnessing the school’s establishment and growth firsthand. Supporting children in their healthy and joyful development has become one of the greatest joys and sources of fulfillment in her retirement life.

Outside of work, Ms. Li leads a rich and meaningful life. She loves reading educational books and continues to study and grow, maintaining sharp insight into children’s education and psychological development. She also has a strong passion for fashion and views clothing coordination as a form of artistic expression—an element she sometimes incorporates into her teaching, bringing more creativity and inspiration to her classroom.

李霞是一位敬业的教育者，母亲和时尚爱好者。她于1992年6月毕业于武汉师范学校，主修教育并取得教师资格证，同年7月正式踏上教育岗位。在长达27年的教学生涯中，她以优异的业绩和高度的责任心深受学校与家长认可，所带班级多次被评为“优秀班集体”。凭借扎实的教育心理学背景，她对儿童的心理发展与学习需求进行了深入研究，并在教学中灵活运用。

2013年退休后，李霞移民美国。出于对教育事业的热爱，她加入了小苗苗幼儿园，成为学校首批员工之一，亲历并见证了学校的创立与成长。陪伴孩子们健康快乐地成长，成为她退休生活中最大的喜悦与满足。

在教学工作之外，李霞的生活同样丰富而充实。她热爱阅读教育类书籍，不断进修，保持对儿童教育和心理发展的敏锐度。同时，她对时尚有独特的兴趣与品味，将服装搭配视为一种艺术表达，并时常把这种创意带入教学，为孩子们带来更多灵感与活力。

Olivia is the Founder and Director of Little Sprouts CIP, as well as a dedicated educator, mother, traveler, nature explorer, and certified yoga instructor. Her lifelong passion for working with children began when she was young, caring for neighborhood kids and discovering the joy of helping them learn and grow.

Originally from China, Olivia began her studies in tourism there before continuing her journey in the United States, where she earned her Education degree and teaching certification from Webster University in St. Louis. With more than 15 years of teaching experience, Olivia has developed a deep understanding of how language, culture, and creativity can come together to nurture the whole child.

Before founding Little Sprouts, Olivia was a founding lead kindergarten teacher at the St. Louis Language Immersion School. Inspired by her own children and her belief in the power of bilingual learning, she created Little Sprouts as a warm, inclusive space where children can explore, imagine, and grow through immersive language experiences.

Olivia’s background as a yoga instructor and nature lover brings both calm mindfulness and joyful energy into the school environment. She believes that when children feel balanced, connected, and inspired, they blossom—just like little sprouts.

Olivia 是 Little Sprouts 中文沉浸式幼儿园 的创办人兼园长，同时也是一位热爱教育的母亲、旅行者、自然探索者与瑜伽导师。她从小就喜欢与孩子相处，帮助邻里的小朋友学习与成长，这份热情也成为她毕生的教育使命。

Olivia 来自中国，早年在中国学习旅游专业，后来来到美国，在圣路易斯的韦伯斯特大学取得教育学学位与教师资格证。她拥有超过15年的中美教学经验，深知语言、文化与创造力在幼儿成长中的重要性。

在创办 Little Sprouts 之前，Olivia 曾担任圣路易斯沉浸式学校的创校幼儿园主班教师。成为母亲后，她希望为自己的孩子与社区家庭打造一个温馨、包容、充满创造力的双语学习环境。于是，Little Sprouts 中文沉浸式幼儿园应运而生。

作为一名自然爱好者与瑜伽导师，Olivia 将平静与活力融入校园的每一天。她相信，当孩子在平衡、关爱与启发中成长时，他们就会像小小的嫩芽一样，茁壮绽放，充满生命力。
